Train bridge over Blanco River

This project will result in three large format fine art photos of points in the origin story of San Marcos, Texas. It all started one day on a random photo walk when I discovered a placard near where Post Road crosses the Blanco River. The placard described the extension of the rail line that first connected San Marcos to larger cities. That was the point that cemented the viability of this tiny town and allowed the population to explode. I planned an executed a photo of the train bridge seen from the viewpoint of the placard and began my search for other architectural sites that could accompany this critical development in the history of San Marcos.
